I took about a week and a half off from the blog because we were in Disneyland last week! It was a great time to go. It was much less crowded than the past few years that we have gone in the Spring. We even walked right on to some rides with no lines at all! The only downside to the off-peak season is the hours and the number of big rides closed for renovation (Matterhorn, Indiana Jones, Peter Pan, and California Soarin’ were all closed last week). The park was only open 11 hours the 3 days that we went (usually 10:00am to 9:00pm) and there were no fireworks or Fantasmic during our stay (there was a special event for Annual Pass Holders on Tuesday night so we did see fireworks on our walk home to the hotel). We stayed at the Castle Inn & Suites on Harbor Blvd and will definitely stay there again. It was clean, close, and cheap, which is all we need since we spend more time out of the hotel than in the hotel at Disneyland!
I am back to my blog today. Stay tuned for updated Disney Tips, Disney crafts, and other fun non-Disney topics coming soon!
